Each device includes a patented, light-emitting, FBI-certified FAP-30 scanner that captures single prints for rapid identification. Evolution 3 can be configured to capture any combination of biometric data and is CJIS compliant, ensuring information is kept secure and safe.

What does FAP-30 mean?
Devices that meet or exceed the minimum FBI interoperability standards and will work with the Next Generation Identification (NGI) System are eligible to receive Appendix F certification from the FBI. FAP-30 certified devices capture single-finger flats. Devices with a FAP-45 certification or higher can capture both rolled and plain prints.
